Kitty’s Corner is conveniently located 10 miles north of I-70 on Highway 65, a 1 hour drive from both Kansas City and Columbia, and is still considered Marshall’s “best kept secret”.
Marshall is also proudly the home of the Vikings at Missouri Valley College, whom we support and welcome at all of our guest suites.

We stayed at Kitty's Corner on homecoming weekend for the local college (Missouri Valley College). The homecoming parade started in front of the house, so we sat on the lawn and watched. It was a block from the town square, a mile from the college and really convenient! The host provided a few extras which we really appreciated. If you are going to Marshall this is the way to go. With two hotels in town, you better book early, this place will get snapped up quickly.

This is a great place to stay if you like peace and quiet. Chris and Sherri were very friendly and accommodating to my needs. This place gives you that small town feeling where everyone knows each other and helps each other.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Shari's place. It was in a quiet part of Marshall, but close enough to visit a number of venues to eat and shop. I especially liked the quiet. There was no noise, road or otherwise. The house was well equipped with everything needed to have a successful stay. The house was clean and well maintained. It was quite apparent Shari takes pride in her offering. There is quite an extensive library for one who likes to read, and to be honest it would be worth the time just to visit to read and relax. It is just one of those places that you feel at home in, or I did at least. I appreciated the breakfast cake that was left for me. It went well with my morning coffee. (Thank you Shari!) I usually make one to two recreational trips to Marshall each year. I hope Shari's home is available the next time I visit.

“Loved this place! It is super close to the Square, walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in town. The hosts pay attention to details and really make you feel welcomed.
